Mercer University provides entering students with a comprehensive Orientation program designed to ease the transition from high school to college. This award-winning program prepares entering students for Mercer's educational opportunities and expectations, as well as introducing the intellectual, cultural, social and spiritual climate of the institution. Through this introduction to the many facets of campus life, the New Mercerian Orientation program helps integrate new students as members of the Mercer community.
Mercer's commitment to its entering undergraduate students includes programs that begin during the summer and continue throughout the fall semester (for students entering the University in August), as well as programs for transfer students and those entering in the Spring.
