Service and Opportunity
A common trait that Mercer students share is the desire to make a difference in this world right now. In fact, Mercer's students rank among the most engaged students in the nation, according to the National Survey for Student Engagement. From the moment that Mercer's first year students set foot on campus, they are encouraged to participate in and directed to opportunities in the Macon community that begin to teach them through service learning.
