Ray Tatum
Assistant Vice President

Ray discovered his passion for university admissions as an undergraduate student, when he worked as a campus tour guide for all four years (and three summers)! He has now served private liberal arts institutions for over 23 years, leaving for 3 years to work in the student loan industry. Currently in his 5th year at Mercer, Ray enjoys helping students make that very important life decision - where to spend their college years.

His work at Mercer as Assistant Vice President and Director of Admissions keeps him busy – from freshmen and transfers to international student admissions. However, the “tour guide” is still around! He will take time to give you a “nickel tour” of Macon, if you’ll let him!
