Checklist for Applying
Checklist for Freshman Admissions
If you are applying as a freshman, you must submit the following materials:
- Application for Admission
- $50 Application Fee ($25 if applying online)
- Official High School Transcript(s)
- Official SAT and/or ACT score(s)
- Résumé including your high school and community activities as well as work experience.
Checklist for Transfer Admissions
If you are applying as a transfer, you must submit the following materials:
- Application for Admission
- $50 Application Fee ($25 if applying online)
- Official High School and/or College Transcript(s)
- Update FAFSA information (Mercer's School Code is 001580) and complete The Mercer University Application for Financial Aid
Checklist for International Admissions
- Application for Admission
- Certified copies of all academic records (optional for ELI)
- Financial Support Statement (which we can mail to you) or Bank Statement (Showing first year's support)
- TOEFL score of 550 (paper) or 213 (computer)
- Nonrefundable application fee of $100. If you have studied in the United States, a letter of good standing for the current semester or quarter
Application Fee Payments
Day Class at the Macon Campus
You may submit your application fee online or you may mail a check to the Office of University Admissions, Mercer University. A nonrefundable $50 application fee is required with your application ($25 if applying online). If you submit your application online, please send payment promptly.
Clearly identify on the check your name as it appears on the application.
SAT/ACT Score(s)
Request that an official report of your SAT/ACT Score(s) be sent to the Office of University Admissions, Mercer University. A score on an official high school transcript is acceptable. Mercer's SAT institution code is 5409; Mercer's ACT institution code is 0838.
Transcripts
Freshman
Request that your official high school transcript(s) be sent to the Office of University Admissions, Mercer University.
Transfer
Official high school transcripts must be submitted if you have less than 30 semester hours of college work after high school graduation. Applicants with AP/CLEP or joint enrollment credit must submit official transcripts for these courses as well.
