What are Mercer's requirements to be considered for acceptance?
While there are no minimums to achieve for admission consideration, the 2007-2008 incoming freshman SAT ranged from 1180-1280 and the average high school GPA ranged from 3.5-3.65.
What is the deadline to apply for admission to Mercer?
Because Mercer operates on a plan-based admissions calendar, applications are processed depending on the plan under which a student applies. The plans are:
- Early Action: This plan is designed for those who would like an early decision notification, but who do not wish to make an early commitment to attend. Also, students interested in being considered for the most attractive scholarship opportunities are encouraged to apply through the Early Action Plan. The deadline for Early Action admission is November 1.
- Regular Decision: This plan is the most common method of applying for undergraduate admission at Mercer. Students must submit their application and supporting documents (preferably by May 1). Mercer will notify Regular Decision applicants every three weeks, beginning in January.
